Toyota Hilux Technology: Car Audio System

It’s been a long week, and you’ve got to work on Saturday. But that doesn’t mean you have to miss the game. With HiLux’s car audio system, an FM/AM radio is standard across the range. And if your team didn’t turn up to the park today, not only is there a USB port^ for selected iPods®+ and other devices, there’s also a CD player, so you can console yourself with some decent sounds.

In the SR5 model the audio system includes a in-dash single CD MP3 compatible player with a 6.1″ LCD screen featuring Bluetooth™ connectivity, Satellite Navigation++ and audio streaming with compatible mobile phones.

The audio system pumps out great sound across the range. Two powerful, strategically mounted speakers provide the entertainment in the WorkMate and SR models. While in the SR5, the acoustics are positively luxurious thanks to a wraparound 6 speaker system.

In Hilux SR and SR5 models the driver can access all this without taking his hands from the steering wheel, or his eyes off the road because fingertip steering wheel audio controls let you change radio stations, adjust volume or switch the audio mode. SR5 models also feature Bluetooth™ steering wheel mounted controls.
